Right click on the popup video player and select options,
go to the performance tab, click on advanced,
Find the “video acceleration” header and uncheck the “use overlays” box
That should solve your problem.

If you are a non-mac user and are not using GAIM as your chat client then you deserve a slap upside the head.
GAIM allows you to use several chat clients including AIM, Yahoo, and MSN inside of one UI. And the program itself is very clean without all the advertisements that adorn AOL and MSN’s home clients. It lacks the UI sharpness of something like AIM Pro, but, is gleefully plain and unadorned, a welcome plus for those that just want to see their buddy list. It also has an easy feature to rename your buddies to display an alias instead of their screen name. If you use Trillian, there is no reason not to use GAIM instead. If you are using the AOL, Yahoo, or MSN native clients, then, well, I’m surprised you were able to navigate to this blog without tech support.
If you are not using Pandora to find new music, you should be.
Pandora lets you pick songs and/or artists that you enjoy and based on an extensive music library, it will find other songs and artists that you might enjoy based on the components of the music that you entered and will proceed to create a “station” for you that will stream the selected songs for you. Throughout this you can help guide the station by rating the songs. This is quite a cool application of A.I. and is seen elsewhere in places like Netflix’s movie suggestions which are tag-based.
